About:
I started Roadside litter pick up two years ago when I chose to walk for my own health benefits. At first I simply walked past litter until I realized the same litter was every present. This prompted me to go to my local hardware store and purchase a set of grippers. Today I own four sets of grippers.
Pet peeves, drug paraphernalia, i.e. syringes and discarded commercial Marijuana products. I do not care if people choose to use Marijuana, it is their choice. Just don't throw the used product on the ground.
What I find really depressing though is people who discard their syringes on the road ways or in the Park's which present serious health hazards for little children and pets.
Basically you can see me on the Centennial Trail somewhere between Coeur d'Alene and Higgen's Point, but I have also taken efforts in Post Falls Park's, Fernan Saddle, Fernan Lake Natural Area and anywhere between I90 and Sunnyside.
I encourage others to do what they can, where they are at with what they have.

Litter pick up from Higgens Point to Beacon Point and back. Two bags of trash a one gallon can of hazmat and a sword blade. What are people thinking bringing a sword to the lake?

Observed the results of humans in consideration for litter. The first photo is cigarette butts on roadway at I90 ah SH4. The second photo is trash floating at a beach in the Philippines. Trash is everywhere, it takes an effort to reprogram ourselves to quit ignoring it.

Litter pick up Tony's Resreraunt to Silver Beach and back. Drove down to Higgens Point to get an estimate of how much trash was there from yesterday. Saw the Juvenile Deversion Program participants picking up trash.
