Picked up 2 bags of trash and 15 cans for a total of 318 recyclables so far. Still aiming for 61 Teddy s only 40 to go.

Rode the narrow gauge railroad to Carcross in the Yukon Territory. Picked up 1 bag of garbage and 1 plastic bottle to recycle.

I work at Yokes on highway 195. This morning I realized that my service learning assignment was almost due, and I was worried that I was not going to be able to find the time. In the middle of a 10 hour shift, right around 3, I realized that I could easily clean up a portion of the highway. To my realization, this was easier said than done. I went out with a garbage bag and started walking down the side of the highway. Every now and then I would find a can, but I wasn't having much luck.. until I found a storm drain coming from the Qualchan golf course over to my side of the highway.

Only got to pick up a few pieces of trash but every little bit helps!

I picked up 86 aluminum cans in less than a mile!! That's a serious litter problem. My recycle bin is almost half full. I had to leave my bags in my firend's yard and drive back to get them.
