About:
I started Roadside litter pick up two years ago when I chose to walk for my own health benefits. At first I simply walked past litter until I realized the same litter was every present. This prompted me to go to my local hardware store and purchase a set of grippers. Today I own four sets of grippers. Pet peeves, drug paraphernalia, i.e. syringes and discarded commercial Marijuana products. I do not care if people choose to use Marijuana, it is their choice. Just don't throw the used product on the ground. What I find really depressing though is people who discard their syringes on the road ways or in the Park's which present serious health hazards for little children and pets. Basically you can see me on the Centennial Trail somewhere between Coeur d'Alene and Higgen's Point, but I have also taken efforts in Post Falls Park's, Fernan Saddle, Fernan Lake Natural Area and anywhere between I90 and Sunnyside. I encourage others to do what they can, where they are at with what they have.

Sadly I have to lay blame for the litter on the same people who enjoy the beauty of the lake and use the area for fishing.

It is really frustrating to find so many syringes along a trail and Roadside that is used by so many people, especially during the summer months.

The year so far

I stopped submitting daily Teddy's due to the difficulty in up loading photos, very frustrating, but I continued with my clean ups. The stats are from January 1st, 2020 to present. 68 days of clean up for 720 pounds. 10.5 pounds of litter for each day.
